These daytime activities are FREE admission. No tickets -- no registration -- just come on in!

Our Folk Festival concert performers, as well as other music and dance groups from the University and the Chicago area folk community, offer a full program of workshops in slide guitar, various fiddle styles, Cajun dance, Scandinavian music and dance, barn dance, shape note singing, and much more.

Informal jam sessions are sure to sprout up in nooks all over Ida Noyes, so bring your instruments, feet, ears, and a smile, and prepare to have a great time!
